On Going

Shopping, reading, taking a stroll down the street - things you do every day without a second thought. However, for Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who are blind or partially sighted, these things can be challenging. A helping hand can make a world of difference. Become a CNIB Vision Mate and experience the reward of giving back. With only two hours a week, you can help someone in your community with these everyday tasks. Learn how you can volunteer by calling your local CNIB office at 1-800-563-2642 or visit

The Corner Brook Status of Women are looking for volunteers to help at the Centre on Carmen Avenue. If you want to work towards the goal of creating a better community while promoting change, equality and women's rights, call us at 639-8522. Any time you can give from an hour to a day would be greatly appreciated
